The dual enrollment program allows high school students from private Catholic high schools in the Midwest to earn college credits from Regis University. This program offers numerous benefits to various groups.
High Schools:
A dual enrollment program allows high schools to provide courses that are typically unavailable. It also offers students the chance to broaden their knowledge, encounter college-level coursework, and foster crucial study and organizational skills in preparation for college.
Students:
The program enables students to earn college credit, potentially reducing time and tuition costs. Dual enrollment programs can expose students to courses not usually available in high school, which may help them choose a career or declare a major earlier in college. Moreover, access to higher-level classes can help students refine their academic goals and skills.
Regis University:
A dual enrollment program can generate extra income and occupy vacant seats. It also provides a pathway to full-time, traditional admission, contributing to Regis University's strategic objective of becoming a preferred college.
